Brooks Tavern

Stopped in for lunch. I had the Brooks sirloin melt and the wife had the Turkey apple and Brie sandwich with caramel dipping sauce. Would definitely go again. Service was great, food was good, atmosphere was nice. Loved the old building feel. Update: came back 5-8-2025 and had the Reuben, and it was awesome!

We’ve enjoyed every meal here so far. The cocktails have been really great. And we love the buffalo chicken salad and turkey sandwich. Everyone in our family had been pleased. The hostess that we’ve encountered could be a little nicer but our servers have been very pleasant. Definitely will continue to patronize this place.

Update!!! We ate there again tonight. The food and service was absolutely fantastic, again. Super attentive waitress. Delicious Food! Huge portions. Great prices! Awesome ambiance! Much much bigger than Hendersonville location. Loved it!

Food is always good. Super cute restaurant. I love the design, Got the under ground feel. Favorite time to eat here is on weekends, when that bunch menu is being offered ????. My go to then is the french toast with that amazing candied bacon! One of the few places open on Mondays! Got some good burgers, My next try will be meatloaf I believe lol. Always friendly service! Where do I begin? First off I came in yesterday afternoon. This sweet girl named dana was by herself. Literally running to make sure everyone in the restaurant had their food, had drinks, sat people, bussed tables, took Togo orders, I mean.. everything. And not once did she give a bad attitude or be short. She treated everyone with such positivity, was kind, was making jokes, just an all around super star. At one point the entire restaurant was full, and she’s slinging cocktails for our table, and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. She told me to get the southern fried chicken sandwich, and recommended my husband and I split it since we’re not big eaters. Thank god because when she brought out that sandwich, the piece of chicken was covering both buns. She even accommodated and brought us a second bun. Because it truly was big enough to make two sandwiches. It was absolutely AMAZING, I would make a trip back up this way just for that sandwich. Her memory? Outstanding. If I was her yesterday I would have been in tears. Whoever hired her, fantastic choice. I will be back. Thank you Dana for going above and beyond for my family during such a high stress time. You are truly one of a kind. (If you’re to ever read this, don’t ever doubt yourself. You rock!) Oh, and the food, FABULOUS. The drinks? PHENOMENAL.
