El San Jose Mexican Restaurant

Your average Mexican experience. Some dishes were ok, some were not great. 2 of 4 dishes came put incorrect, but we just ate it anyway due to time constraints. Busy on a Monday because many surrounding restaurants are closed that day. Service was slow but very friendly. But when travelling, needed to get our check and pay instead of flagging someone down for 15 minutes.

Perfectly ok decor and atmosphere. The servers were friendly, if a bit slow (we were there for a late lunch, on a Sunday.) Excellent menu - a huge variety of authentic dishes, chicken, pork, & beef. Plenty of combos to choose from, so you get everything you want and nothing you don't. I liked the mexican food explanation in the menu - very helpful. Hot, crunchy chips came out immediately, with both mild & hot salsa. Food was hot & flavorful. Note: no margaritas served on Sundays.

A mexican in a small city in South Carolina. The food was delicious and cheap at the same time. The waitress was very nice also. We sat outside because no availability inside. However, there were a couple who were smoking next to us and ask if we can moved indoor. She understood and helped us moved indoor. Also, come with free chips and salsa.

We have to come here everytime we are in the area! Love it!

I neglected to get our waiter's name, but he was extremely patient with us being deaf, slight mishap, slight miscommunication (hey, we ARE deaf, LOL!), and sadly, a spill of drink (um, you do know we use hands to sign, so, sometimes we forget what is in front of us and would knock things off when signing, lol). Food was great! Service was great! Reasonable prices. Thank you!!
