El Roble

New place for us! So good. We felt very welcome and at home as soon as we walked in the door! The whole family was telling us good morning and the service was excellent. ???? I had the cheese mole enchiladas, my husband had three different tacos and enjoyed them and my daughter LOVED the horchata. We had three different salsas that were so good - love the variety! We will be back for sure. Highly recommend! Super sweet and hard working family!

Authentic food and very attentive service! Lovely little local spot. Blink and you'll miss it, so keep an eye out! El Roble is real and a little bit divey -- which is to say, perfect. As a local, I'll definitely be back. Out-of-towners looking to check out a proper Texas-Mexican family-owned spot while they're in town will appreciate it too. Not everyone there speaks English, so if you're looking for a place to practice your Spanish, look no further. (They don't serve alcoholic beverages here, just fyi.)

The food was really good, pretty good service as well, loved everything we ordered "tacos de barbacoa, taco de lengua and pancakes" it was al really good! They have a drive-thru, parking is a bit eehh, but who goes to a restaurant for the parking, right? We Enjoyed the food and their drinks.

First time trying out this local, family owned spot. Could be described as a little dive of a restaurant, with some great authentic Mexican/TexMex food. The service was also exceptional, with staff being very attentive and asking us regularly if we needed anything. We will be back! Especially because they serve caldo de res, menudo, pozole everyday and serve the full menu at anytime as well.

This is AUTHENTIC Mexican food! It is a "hole in the wall" kind of place, so that right there tells you that the food is going to be good! You drive up and order from the window. We got menudo, a lengua taco, a chicharron taco and a brisket taco. All portions were generous and the flavor was amazing!
