El Pastor: Resturante, Taquiera y Tienda Mexicana

Working from out of state... don't be deceived by the exterior or interior, because it is kind of a hole in the wall place, but my meal was amazing. I had two beef and two chicken empanadas, with grilled jalapeños. I don't know what they used to grill the jalapeños, but they were phenomenal. Empanadas were so filling that I had to take two back to the hotel. They also had like a salsa bar and I love hot and spicy. Two of the salsa met and exceeded expectations. You can tell that they make their own chips. Just a tad bit greasy, but they were lighter than most restaurant chips. All in all no place is perfect, but my meal was enjoyable. Also, the empanads are not on the restaurants menu, but are on the menu in the pictures listed for this post.

Very good tacos. I tried the Al Pastor, Carnitas, Buche, Asada, Lengua, and Chorizo. They come just bare meat on tortillas but thanks to a very robust salsa bar, these turned out to be very fulfilling tacos. The tortillas are very good, flavorful and just the right temperature and fried right. The salsa bar was well stocked with onions, cilantro, salsa verde, guacamole salsa, and plenty of hot sauces. Very good and very authentic (good to know Spanish or bring someone who speaks it). Great value. And they have a good selection of Mexican candies and snacks for purchases.

Small place. Had the enchiladas Verdes. Had 4 rather than the usual 3. It was good. They had a condiment bar with red and green sauces pico de Gallo, onions, etc. Servers did not have much English. Liked the food

I stopped by during my lunch break and ordered 3 chicken tacos and a pineapple soda. It was the BEST meal I had in a while. It was delicious and a great price. It took them only 5 minutes to make my food and the owner talked with me during that time. He made sure I was satisfied with my visit, and I definitely was! Highly recommend!!!

Well.... I ordered a burrito and rice and beans to go. They gave my order to me and when I got home I opened up the box to find 3 tamales and no rice and no beans. They had given me someone else's order. I wasn't about to drive all the way back so I ate the tamales. They were great!!! It wasn't what I ordered but it turned out well. I wonder how the other person liked my burrito, rice, and beans.... Lol.
