Delicious food, good prices and excellent service.

I'm one of these people who loves going to classic New York restaurants more than whatever the hot foodie place of the moment is. (I also avoid "Restaurant Week".) If that makes me a stuffy old codger, so be it. Anyway, I love the location of this place (very close to where I usually stay), the uniformed doormen, and the very wonderful staff. The restaurant is elegantly decorated - you feel like you've entered a vintage era. We went on a weeknight for a couples dinner. It wasn't very crowded at all. Not sure which dishes have the small portions, as I had the beef stroganoff and it was large. I was barely able to finish, in fact I think I had to leave some. It was a bit heavy and more on the order of a good old ethnic restaurant than a cutting-edge Food Channel concept, but it was still pretty good. Also had the tea which was served up very nicely. I was a bit bummed that they were out of my first wine selection, but the substitute bottle the server suggested was quite nice.

Eggs are not served hot or warm. They do not have many items on the menu and when you order a meal, they do not put all the things it comes with. They need to hire one person that is bi lingual. This establishment does not have any employees who speak English. Food is ok. But I would never return. The prices listed on the menu is not what is charged when you get the final bill.

I'm giving this place 3 starts because food was ok. I have tried better food around the area. Poor customer service. One girl to take care all the tables. I honestly think is better to do take out from this place. Is not worth to dinner in. You get more food as well.

The food is great for the price big hearty portions and it’s a comfy family friendly place. They have agua frescas and authentic salvadorian food. Everything is mostly fresh
