El Charro de Seguin

If I could give them 1000 stars i would the owner always makes sure the customer has everything they need he cares!My waitress I don’t know her name but she was a rockstar!The food was better than any Mexican restaurant in new Braunfels,seguin,or San Antonio that’s right they ain’t got nothing on el charro in seguin HOMEMADE tortillas that’ll make your toes curl you guys are amazing thank you!

My family and I visited this little restaurant this morning for brunch and we were so impressed! This place has delicious food and excellent service! Our drinks were never left unfilled and needs were never left unmet. Several staff offered refills frequently and checked in at our table to make sure all was well. I honestly don't think I've ever had such great service before. It definitely caught my attention! We started with the chips and salsa, and you could tell the both were house made and fresh. I wanted to steal their whole bottle of salsa! We had a family of 5 and all five dishes were absolutely divine. My son's chimichanga was the very best though. I will get one next time. Either way, I don't think anything on their menu could possibly disappoint. Wonderful Saturday morning out with the family, thank you for the good food and excellent service!

Staff is super friendly and caring. The food is amazing. We had the enchilada Verde and the mini tacos. Both dishes were very fresh and well seasoned. Chips and salsas with different spiciness. Come here multiple times a week. Highly recommend!

This was our absolute favorite when we lived in town. Unfortunately their hours have changed so it’s been hard for us to go dine in. They no longer have extended hours so it’s not open after work. Today I was in town early for lunch so called in an order, & they have a Pick Up area set up in the side of their building. Food was all so good! Had the Monterrey plate and son had pastor Gorditas.

First time trying today. I liked the walk up window to order to go. The service was quick and friendly. And I thought the price was fair and reasonable. Two breakfast tacos and one sm. menudo. $15.96. The salsa isn’t very hot but has spice, great flavor. I would say the perfect salsa to share, like a happy medium. But I like hot hot salsa for my tacos. The cheese isn’t shredded cheese but a cheese wiz or Velveeta, of some kind. The menudo has plenty of meat in it and some posole. I like to add oregano to mine but when I tried it, instantly thought it needed more flavor in the broth. Like not enough salt, that marinated taste in the broth. Worth going again for the convenience and price. Curious if there’s other better items.
