El Charrito

Nice place, good people, medium price. I had enchiladas mole con pollo, the flavor was quite good although I'm not used to mole being sweet, probably had too many gringos complain about noon-sweet chocolate. The salsa has prominent garlic flavor but was not very picante. the queso was thin and could have been helped with a bit of pico de gallo. But everything was authentic enough and tasted quite good, and the amount served was on the high side.

Tried El Charrito for the first time today—driven past it a bunch of times but with it being Cinco de Mayo I figured why not. Glad I did. Daniel was my server and he was awesome. Made me feel right at home, helped walk me through the menu, and checked on me the perfect amount. Somehow every time he came by I didn’t have a mouth full ???? timing was on point. I got the Aztec chicken chimichanga and it was ????. The peppers, onions, and chicken were seasoned perfectly. Cheese dip was amazing and the salsa… chef’s kiss. Place was super clean and you can tell they take pride in it. I’ll definitely be back. Great food, great service—Daniel killed it.

From walking in to leaving we felt very welcomed and the food was extremely good along with the service !

My sister & brother-in-law recently found this Mexican restaurant. In my opinion, they need to find another! The walls are bare except a TV on one wall with the cable box jammed up above it & sticking out over of the front of it. Our server was somewhat rude & very rushed while other servers took time at their tables & even smiled. The food was not great. I ordered the special dinner. The taco was delivered with the contents dumped out on the plate & there was not much. The tortilla under the chalupa could NOT be cut with the knife provided. The relleno had no heat. The beans had no flavor. The tamale didn't taste pleasant & looked even worse. This restaurant has no atmosphere, poor servers & food that doesn't look appetizing & for good reason. I hope to never return to this restaurant & certainly wouldn't recommend it to others.

This is one of the best restaurants in town! The owner always makes sure customers are satisfied and the service is always great. The food is delicious and the prices are good. It's a good choice for the whole family.
