El Caballo de Oro

We can't stay away! We eat here almost always once a week and sometimes more. Even when the place is packed, they manage to seat and serve you in five to ten minutes. The servers are attentive and quick. The chef consistently turns out excellent meals in no time at all. The whole restaurant runs like a well oiled machine.

Unlimited cantina thin chips and salsa, El Caballo de Oro is a great place to drop in for a quick bite. The queso makes the whole family happy. Flavor was significantly lacking from a signature dish. Steak was more like jerky. Quesadillas was awesome - brought it up from a 3 star review. The seats were worn, but the staff kind and attentive. We'll be dropping back in.

I love this restaurant! The food is delicious and the staff are really kind and helpful. Everything I have tried is really good: fajitas, molcajete, tacos, etc., and my favorite is Pollo Mexicano. Also, it's not on the menu BUT it's really good: The Carol margarita named after Carol Cook because she asked them to make it her own way.
