Old diner in Kenmore area in Akron. Friendly service, inexpensive, very good food. If you looking for a fancy restaurant, this isn't it. But if you like old neighborhood charm and friendly locals then it's a great place to go.

Had the country fried steak with sausage gravy. It was very good. Nice little diner. Cash only.

Country fried steak with sausage gravy. The gravy is well-made, and the potatoes are super fluffy. I was able to inhale the plate fairly quickly.

I did not get anything to eat. When I walked in, I saw the sign CASH ONLY. I normally do not carry cash on me. There is NO ATM on site. I didn't feel like driving to get cash and come back. Maybe the next time I'm in the area and have cash, I'll stop in.
