Dunsmuir Supermarket

Disappointing experience at the Dunsmuir Supermarket. As a local who's grown up in this beautiful area, it's sad to see the staff's attitude reflect poorly on our community. I asked a simple question and was met with a snide response. Incredibly rude and unhelpful. 1 star isn't even deserved, but I'll give it to them anyway. Hopefully, they'll work on treating customers with respect.

I didn't spot anything on the menu at that brewery that I wanted for dinner so I stopped in here and picked up some things. Now that I have power in the van, I can cook or at least microwave and toast! This is a small supermarket but they have a pretty good spread of stuff that will let you fill up your apartment or Airbnb. Frozen, deli, bakery, produce and kitchenwares. Everything you really need. I thought prices were a bit high but this isn't a chain supermarket and it's pretty far from the nearest Safeway or whatever. It gets the job done and the price is covered by the convenience.

Went in this week for the first time on vacation and it'll be our last. Staff was very unfriendly and the female cashier didn't even acknowledge me when I gave her my couple items to scan. Nobody said hello when we walked-in, or thanked us when we left. Guess they knew we weren't local, so didn't bother to waste time on us. I'd give the place one star, but the chicken salad was good. We were going to hang around to try one of the burger joints, but after that experience, we just left. Will never go back.

Lovely Store. Has a little bit of everything ???? service was friendly but did notice a few expired things they were trying to sell. I adored their spice selection! Wow! Such enormous containers that I wish were sold where I live.

Around 6 bucks buys you a tasty meal from the hot bar. Decent alcohol selection. No cash back but who cares. Better to support a local business rather than dollar general. I always resupply here when I pass through on the rails.
