Dottie's Family Restaurant

Use to be an awesome place but went down hill. Watched mine and my daughters plates get put in window to be served waited 15 mins for the plates to be brought to our table. The burger was still raw in middle and smash burgers are not raw in the middle. Fries was cold my sandwich top bun was cold and hard. I told waitress I wanted to talk to manager which got told there wasn’t one and wouldn’t be one tilll Tuesday. Asked for the owners number she said she would have to go see if there was card up front. She then went into back never came back another older waitress came over after we was half way done with food offered to have our food remade told her what’s the point we are already half way through. That waitress was rude toned right off the bat. When she got really nasty rude cutting me off when I went to talk. I told her I’m leaving and half tempted not to pay for the nasty food. She turned and said that’s fine we will take care of the bill. I’ve been in the restaurant busy a long time and there is always been a manager of some short there. I will never ever be back and when I do my review that I do on every restaurant I go to it isn’t going to be a good one. I’ve included a picture of my daughters burger. Ever who the owner is needs to make some changes cause between food being in the window for over 10 mins we waited for 30 to 40 mins on top of that. Wasn’t even that busy

My husband and I are OTR truckers and this was our first time here. The atmosphere was nice and the waitress was nice, however, the food not so much. Now we started off the with fried cheese curds with ranch to dip them and those were honestly the best part of the meal. I had the steak and eggs breakfast with a side of half order of biscuits and gravy. I asked for my steak to be medium rare and it came out well done, I asked for my eggs to be over easy so I could dip my toast in it and they were over medium well (so no runny yolk). My husband didn't even get his whole order and he had to repeat himself 3 times when he was ordering. Maybe it was just the cook on this day or maybe it's their breakfast just isn't great but based on what I had, I would not recommend. If you're a smoker, you'll love this place because they do have a smoking section.

Food came quick and Lizzie wasn't f'n around when I asked for extra ketchup. Although it was mostly for the fries which I didn't expect to actually be as loaded as they are and could have just been dinner themselves. This place needs ten stars, definitely eating here way more often.

My husband and I are OTR from Oklahoma and came in to enjoy Dotties Restaurant for dinner. We were immediately seated and our drinks brought to us. My husband has been driving since the dinosaur days (lol) and he loved the old truck stop feel. Our waitress was on top of her game, even being at the end of her shift, she didn’t miss a beat. The food looked great but tasted even better. We will be back and thank you Dottie’s for a good home cooked meal.

I liked this place. The country fried chicken was great! Then the onion things and ranch was awesome! Awesome! The meat loaf was really salty but not bad. The service was slow but they were understaffed. The server was really nice a polite just busy.
