Very clean, room, clean bed, no stains on the sheets! Very polite lady at the front desk, who helped us right away.. they have a good warm or cold breakfast, many choices.. rooms are quiet and TV's are mounted, so you actually have counter to put your stuff! Definitely recommend it was only $50 for a night, in the winter.. not bad at all!
Don and I stayed here for a few months while he was working on a job in Minot. Staff was very friendly, the hotel was clean and had great amenities like a coin-operated guest laundry and vehicle plugins and a wonderful lounge to relax in after work. Very much worth the money!
The place wasn't too bad, it was clean & safe enough plus I liked that it was right next to the Homesteader cafe (good breakfasts). The downsides were: one particular gentleman working the front desk wasn't very guest-oriented or curteous. After extending our stay, he only re-validated 1 of 2 of my room keys, then claimed he again needed to see the ID's of all in the room. Unusual. Also, no coffee in rooms & not very comfortable beds.
Pretty sure the beds & pillows are the originals from when it was first opened. The building seemed pretty out of date. For the price it wasn't bad. And the coffee was good. The breakfast area was clean & enjoyable to sit in.
12 years ago we had the opportunity to stay at this hotel. Car had broken down during a cross-country trip and the staff was so wonderful in helping us get back on the road. During our latest visit it was sad to see that under New Management the hotel has remained exactly the same. I mean exactly. The towels and sheets are so thin I think they were from our original stay 12 years ago. But, for the price, you really cannot beat the stay. A cheap, clean room for someone passing through on a budget.
