CUSTOMER REVIEWS
Came here for dinner date as the reviews were good. Either people have low expectations or they just don't know what great Peruvian food should be. We ordered food with only Spanish speaking waitress. My date got their food right away, but my order was never placed to the kitchen. I noticed people came in after us got their food so I asked if my food is coming. She went back to place the order. The seafood soup order was extremely salty. I left the restaurant with a bit of headache too. That usually happens if there is preservatives like MSG in the food. Another waitress didn't even bother to help us when we waved her down. She was busy cleaning the other half of the restaurant floor while patron of people were eating on the opposite side of the restaurant. Needless to say the experience did not meet the expectation of raved reviews.
First of all, Patty it’s the best server EVER. I work in the food industry and let me tell u she is a perfect server and many have to learn from her. She made my family feel like home and got me smiling until I got home. The food was amazing and the prices reasonable. I got Peruvian food from many places, and as a Peruvian raised and born, this place was the closest and best Peruvian food I could get. I would 100% recommend. Btw my bill was high bc we tried a lot of things, my parents favorite was the chanfainita and mine was the ceviche and causa de atún
I haven't been here in almost 10 years and the food didn't disappoint. We got the classics: ceviche mixto/costa verde para dos, ají de gallina and tallerines verdes con bistec plus a new dish for me, pescado a la chorrillana. All great options and very straightforward. Exactly what I wanted for my Peruvian cravings and a good value.
They offer the best authentic Peruvian cuisine in the Atlanta area. If you decide to dine in the staff is very friendly and the service is efficient. You can also call in and your order will be ready when you arrive. It's a family owned business, and you get that feeling when you walk in.
This was my first visit in almost a decade, and the meal did not let me down. We ordered the traditional dishes, including ají de gallina, tallerines verdes with bistec, and ceviche mixto/costa verde para dos. I also tried something new, pescado a la chorrillana. They're all excellent choices and pretty simple. Perfect for satisfying my Peruvian cravings and reasonably priced.
