This Cafe on the corner has amazing home cooked food! We really enjoyed our impromptu stop while driving around Sunday. The notice on the door says to keep on moving if you are in a hurry. The wait is worth it! (honestly, the courses came out in a reasonable amount of time) We had the Chicken Ceasar Salad, Grilled Pork Chop, and Cod Fish meal. The food was all expertly cooked, arrived fresh and hot, and it all tasted great! The service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and took great care of us. Our first stop here was really good. If ever in the area again, we will definitely stop.
Small-town eatery offering a breakfast & lunch menu with quite a selection to choose from. Large portion sizes, great flavor, and excellent service make this a ‘must stop’ location. Be sure to try their sausage gravy as it could be the best I’ve ever had. The blueberry pancakes were excellent as well.
Great food, great atmosphere
Great service and food. We stopped for lunch on a whim and are so glad we chose CJs. Rosie, our waitress, took great care of us and made lunch with two toddlers a breeze! The French onion dip is amazing (yummmm!) and our sandwiches were great. Would highly recommend you stop in if you are in the area!
I love love love CJs. It is a must for breakfast or lunch in the area. The staff is warm, welcoming, and kind. The food is delicious, home-made goodness, and very generous portions at good prices. Every time we visit for the weekend, we hit CJs. You can't go wrong. Some of my faves are the country fried steak breakfast, sausage and gravy platter, the breakfast platter, the corned beef hash, and any of the soups. I've never had the lunch menu because the breakfast fare is always what I'm looking forward to.
