Admiral Jack's Bar & Grill

Initially waited on server to get ordered, Once they figured out we had been waiting, our server jumped on and took our order. Sweet girl, great job. Got a freak rain downpour, while they sun was shining. We were under the metal roof so enjoyed watching the rain dance on the water. FOOD was TOP NOTCH. EXCEPTIONAL!

What a fun place to pull up on the boat and catch some food and drink. Super friendly staff and great food. Also great place to sit and watch the boats go by.

My wife says her southwest salad with boom boom shrimp is the best she has ever had ... and she eats a lot if salads. My fish & chips were exactly what I wanted - traditional and satisfying.

It's a bar on a boat, so keep that in mind when you go here. Space is limited, so their will be a wait, and the kitchen is down a flight of stairs, so it will take a minute to get to you. That being said, there is a cool island vibe going on, and the seafood is fantastic. There is dockside seating available if you don't want to wait for a table, though I would since the view is wonderful. Don't worry if boats aren't your thing or you get seasick, Admiral Jacks is bolted, cemented, and reinforced so much into the dock that no amount of rough water will move it.

Very nice location on the Black River. This is somewhere you want to be on a warm summer afternoon and evening. However, that all comes at a premium and the wait staff was strictly business. If you got the cash, then it's not a problem. But there are more affordable places in South Haven for drinks and food. My wife really liked her chicken wrap My walleye sandwich was just so-so. However, the crowd looked like they were all having a good time.
