City Diner

This place is always buzzing, especially on Sunday mornings. We love coming here often. It's so lively, and even though there might be a bit of a wait, the food is always fresh. The service is alright, nothing exceptional, but the location is super convenient. They have a good variety of drinks and food. Usually, the servers are quite busy, so don't expect them to be too attentive. However, there is this one woman who is an absolute gem. She's an amazing server, so kind and friendly. If you're lucky enough to be served by her, your visit will be even more enjoyable.

I was very surprised at how good this place was. I work next door at 101 Hudson. Came here for lunch during a weekday and everything was great. Service was great. We were seated promptly and orders taken as soon as we were ready. Everything came out nice and quick and the staff was very positive Food was great. Got the 2 egg platter and French onion soup. Home fries were not bland and seasoned. The soup was on point. Not to heavy on the salt and the bread inside was nice and soft The ambiance was great and love the warm feeling inside. Would def be back here for more good food.

Food was excellent and we were lucky enough that they were open on Christmas Day. Service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and our food came out surprisingly fast. We only ordered breakfast which, imo, is difficult to screw up. Still, all was delicious. As for atmosphere, well, it's a diner.

It was like every time, excellent. Ribs were fantastic, but to much, no one can it so much. Service with Joven was excellent! @ Mike, unfortunately you wasn't there ????, I have still our first conversation with you (15years ago in my mind) .... But, keep and support Joven, he is a very good guy! The ambiance is coming in the age ... therefore one star less, but the rest was delicious! Can only strongly recommend the Restaurant !

Been here 4 days in a row for breakfast on a visit from PR, Food is excelent good ambience overall a nice Dinner for us, first 3 days service was ok the asian guy can’t remember his name was the best but today a waiter named Tyler ( braids an tats) was a pain in the @$$!! He get mad just for a complaint on cheese! Yup Cheese!!!????????????????????????????????? he switch the table with a girl and doesn’t even acccept to charge my bill I have to wait for another waiter to pay my bill!
