Awesome weekend brunch spot with relaxed vibes. Expect a short wait for a table but once you’re seated, they get your order quickly and the food arrives in record time. I’d highly recommend the Hangover Burger, which has blue cheese, bacon, a runny egg, and a sick aioli. Wasn’t sure about the English muffin substituting a bun, but it actually came together perfectly and soaked up the richness and sauces of the burger. Restaurant is not too loud or busy and you can have a nice conversation. The wait crew is friendly and super efficient!

My favorite brunch spot in Jersey City hands down! Obsessed with their chicken and waffle. Can’t get enough. Love their fries and their drinks! My favorite is the passion fruit margarita. My husband loves their burger. Service is always great and never a long wait. Also a great spot to watch the game!

Onlyfans cocktail was delicious. Small glass. There was something black floating in my glass of water. Gave that back. Chicken bacon sandwich was huge. Delicious too. Sweet potato fries were delicious, too. Onion rings were the problem. They are huge, salty and too much dough. Menu selection is small if you don't want breakfast. It's small inside and tight where the seating is but it's cute. Would've sat outside if it wasn't cold. I'm from the area and still drove but found parking right next to the post office. Oh, they charge a 2.99% addt'l fee if using a credit card. ????

Overall, I thought Buddy JC had an excellent breakfast menu and the location was a safe and clean part of Jersey City. We ordered the Chorizo Guacamole Benedict and the Crab Cake Benedict. I tasted both dishes and I personally felt the Chorizo Guacamole had a great combination of flavor with the poached eggs. My one little critique would be that the Crab Cake Benedict was missing the seafood and/or seasoning flavor which gives off the impression of previously frozen food. I would recommend changing the recipe to add a bit more flavor to the dish. Finally, the French Toast Sticks with fruit toppings was excellent, highly recommended. The customer service was excellent, and we didn't spend unnecessary time waiting around.
