Chubby's Fish & Steak

Ordered the vegetable beef soup and grilled cheese as did my wife waited a good hour for our food. The soup was room temp, it had at best two small pieces of beef and what seemed like canned vegetables and the grilled cheese was not even edible tasted like super old oil like it was hit with cooking spray and the cheese was not even melted. Took one bite and spit it out. Now I will say I have been to this place in the past many years ago and the breakfast was good but as far as the soup and grilled cheese or lack of for sure the worst soup and grilled cheese I've ever had from a restaurant.

First impressions: it’s like coming over to grandmas house. Food and service was good! Will definitely be back to this small town spot after a day at the lakes.

Have been going to this place for years to eat. The atmosphere is very calming. And the food is always good.

Great hometown small family dinner in quaint small Midwestern Indiana town. It's been a destination for years of my kayaking club prior to a run down the wonderful Pigeon river.

The food here was Amazing as usual! My wife and l ate here yesterday as we are staying at Potowatomi Inn in Angola for our 6th wedding anniversary! We both had the ribeye steak dinner and the loaded Kevin's fries (l think that's what they were called) for an appetizer. The food was delicious!! And our waitress was a young lady named Kennedy...well, she was absolutely wonderful!!! She was friendly, courteous, and prompt and helpful! Talking with her was a delight to me and my wife. I gave her a big tip! All of you keep up the good work! We are from South Bend IN but l feel we are official part time "regulars" now! We will be back next time we're in the area!
