China Buffet

The food quality is low, this probably ranks of the lower end of all the Chinese buffet in Charlotte area. The crab legs have no snap to them when cracking which tells me that it’s old. The clarified butter has no taste. The only thing that was decent was the lobster in ginger sauce. They didn’t bring out a lot of lobster what so ever… we were there for about an hour and only say a few pieces of lobster. The sushi looked old to me, the rest of the common food found in Chinese buffets looked old as well. The decor and the floors looked dirty and cheap. The bathroom was filthy. I would not recommend this place at all… they do not know how to properly accommodate for a person in a wheelchair. They tried to give us a table in the back that was tight to get to….we had to tell the host that is not going to work as we had issues even getting to the table… we need a better table preferably something easy accessible. the price was high for a place in this condition $21.99 for the weekend

Honestly one of the best Chinese buffets I’ve been to. They had a massive selection and it was all delicious. They replaced the food regularly and none of it tasted old. The sushi was beautiful and looked very professionally made. They had about 15 different rolls to choose from! They also had a tuna and salmon Poké salad. If you want to upgrade your experience, you can pay $21.99 to include endless snow crab legs and Dungeness crab

We stopped by this $12.99 buffet on the way back to SC. We were quickly seated and she took our drink order. This was a late lunch so the food wasn't as fresh as during peak hours. My favorite item, teriyaki chicken, had been sitting for quite some time. They offer most of the normal buffet fare but have some nontraditional items, probably due to the Latino area...fried plantains, fried fish heads, and spicy hot jalapeño sushi. Good sweet tea. Prompt service from a friendly staff.

We went with 4 people and split the check. On our receipt we tipped the waitress but the other couple didn't on their receipt. When the waitress came to pick up the receipts she said "you didn't tip me" to the other couple and handed the receipt back to them. Then she stood there and waited for the tip to be added. It was the most awkward situation I've ever experienced. Finally he handed over a cash tip and she scoffed before walking away. Then as we were leaving the three workers pointed at us and said "they didn't tip". Obviously they didn't read the other receipt and see the tip on it...but what the heck?

Looking for a good buffet meal. I would come back. The food had a nice variety and selection, tasted real good. Only one diet pop offered, so I went with water with lemon and it was good. I thought it was a little pricier than I expected, but I didn't go away hungry and I will return when in the area.
