Check Point Charlie

The service at Check Point Charlie was top-notch. The bartenders were not only skilled but also passionate about their craft, engaging guests with stories behind the drinks and ensuring each creation was not just a beverage but an experience.

Nick was our guy today. It doesn't get any better when he's working. Crazy part is he's the cook too. He makes a great burger too order... which includes medium rare burger and well done tots if you ask. Give this man a solid schedule so I know when to come back.

Went during the day. A few crazy folks coming in and out of the bar, but that’s New Orleans

If you're into a dive bar vibe, this is the place for you. It actually has a coin operated laundromat in the bar and the bartender will give you a cup of soap. My GF and I did a load of wash and enjoyed some shots and cocktails while we waited. We went there three times in our ten day visit to NOLA simply just to chill and have some cheap drinks.
