Burton's

Burton's is a great locally-owned grocery store that offers people living near AL-77 in Southside a super convenient place to shop for groceries and other essentials. You'll find a wide selection of items here, as well as a small-town feel that you just can't get at the big chain stores. If you're into shopping local, Burton's is definitely for you.

We walked in walked through the store but, the selection of food is not Hood it looks outdated unfortunately

Worst grocery store I've been too in my life. Produce is skimp. Barley had any bread. Lettuce brown cashier rang me up on wrong change and asked the bagger to run it... pathetic

I like going to Burton's Grocery in Southside. It is always clean and the staff is always friendly. They don't have the selection of many of the chain stores, but they are a small town store with a lot less traffic, so it stands to reason. The prices are also a bit higher, but you pay for convenience.

There was a time this store was better but seems to be getting back there. Some prices are too high but probably worth not having to drive to the other side of town. The store is normally kept neat and clean inside and out. Good hometown feel.
