This is our first time back since the new owners and they did not disappoint!!! Our waitress was great! I got a burger and tater tots and my husband got the BLT special with wild rice soup. Everything tasted delicious! The bacon was perfect....light and crispy. Soup was amazing! Thank you for a nice evening, Bullwinkle's! We will be back!!

New owners have created a great spot & awesome service! Clean, family appropriate with excellent food choices. Excellent local breweries on tap. My Walleye Sandwich was incredibly delicious: lightly breaded & seasoned, not greasy or fishy, & the fillet was longer than the bun! Sweet potato fries were good, but dipping them in the honey butter made them even better! Saturday is Prime Rib night, so Sunday they make an awesome Prime Rib Melt-you must try it!

My family of 10 ate here for supper on a Thursday evening. I had not been here before, so I was excited to try something new. The restaurant sits just outside of Nevis. It didn’t look like much, and it seemed to me that you could easily drive past it if you weren’t paying attention. We had called for reservations and we ended up outside. It was very hot, and I thought they could have arranged the tables to be completely out of the sun, although we ended up managing to get almost everyone in the shade. Within about 30 minutes, the sun was low enough so that we were all in the shade. The menu features a variety of items, from appetizers to burgers to salads and then some. Most of our group ordered one of those three items. Overall, most everyone seemed to enjoy their food. My wife liked her Greek salad, to which she added a grilled chicken breast. She found the chicken to be on the dry side, but she thoroughly enjoyed the salad. A couple people had wings, and they all liked them. Besides an appetizer, my son and nephew shared a pinsa (something like a pizza) with pepperoni and hot honey. They liked that a lot but didn’t think the honey added all that much heat. I ordered a California burger and added a slice of cheese. I didn’t think to ask the server if I could have it prepared medium, which I know can be difficult to deliver. It came out very well done. I will admit that it was still pretty juicy, but overall, I thought it was just bland. And the pepper jack cheese was basically melted away. The sandwich came with a side, so I opted for the dipper fries, something I hadn’t heard of before. They were thicker than a chip and very good. I had a cup of beer cheese to dip them in. I also ordered some coconut cake to go. I tried that later in the evening, and while the flavor was good, it had dried out a bit. I’m not sure if it would have been better if I had eaten it right away instead of waiting several hours. And while I like coconut and frosting, I scraped off about half of the frosting. It was just too much. I don’t know what the restaurant is like inside since we just stayed outside the whole time. Based on the general consensus of the group, I have to recommend this restaurant since so many people in the group liked it. I look forward to trying it again when I come back next year, although I won’t be getting a cheeseburger.

The new owners are doing a fantastic job! We had large groups a couple times this last weekend and service was very friendly and fast. The large patio was a great place to hang out and enjoy the beautiful weather. Definitely a place to check out! (Bullwinkle's on 34..new name)

Opening Day and night, but it did not disappoint us! The food was great! I had the West Coast Chicken Breast with a skewer of shrimp. You can see by the picture very good! Taste, preparedness, and overall, really very good! My husband had 2 appetizers. The Firecracker shrimp and the chips and salsa. He said that was the best Pico de Gallo he has ever tasted! And the guacamole was delicious too! I tried it, and one of the best Guac's I tasted! We both to full to try their desserts. Hopefully, we will get to try something else there next time. Oh, I also got a salad with my meal. You have got to try the Tahiti dressing for your salad! Yum!
