Blue Lagoon Saloon

Kristin was our server today. She was AWESOME! It was our first time and she knew the menu very well. We had gator tail to start. The gator tail had a nice crispy breading and the sauce Kristin recommended, swamp sauce I think, was really good. We then had wings and the clipper burger. Our lunch was delicious. The Spicy Thai Peanut was my favorite. The other flavors we had were mediim Buffalo, mango habanero and garlic parm. All of them were very good. Our sons burger had a great char flavor to it. We will definitely be back. Our son found a micro duck which made his day. Kristin thank you for an amazing first time dining experience at the Blue Lagoon.

Most of the young waitresses here are not very attentive. Sped more times on their phone talking to each other and then a couple of the young girls spend more time with other young guys than they do waiting on their customers. But there are a couple of bartenders/waitresses that are exceptional. Looks like you need a new night manager to kind of check things over and get this straightened out because it is really a good place. You’re paying waitresses to flirt with young patrons talk to each other and gossip and stay on their own phones rather than waiting on customers.

Local hangout with a huge menu and great food. Shrimp, gator, oysters, and the wings going by looked good too. Definitely worth the stop!

Food was way overseasoned, even for a salt lover. Grilled veggies were super salty. Specialty drink was fun. Service was slow at best, felt totally ignored. Wait staff didn't seem to understand when asked how fish can be prepared. Very dive bar atmosphere, which was expected.

We ate fried calamari and Maui Mahi tacos which were delicious but Shayla and Cassie our servers were super amazing and treated us like royalty. We will definitely be coming back for more. Oh and yes we ordered another round fried calamari that’s how good they were.
