Belmar Beach

Amazing beach! It’s nice even in the rain like today.

Beautiful beach with many eateries nearby !

Cold weather, strong wind, very cold water, strong waves, no boardwalk, not enough parking

I gotta say, this beach is one of my fav! No radios allowed (although some being them) which makes it friendly for all types of families. $9 fee for 16+ keeps this beach clean with alright restrooms and lifeguards. The boardwalk is nice without all the touristy shops to clutter it up. The restaurants in the immediate beach/boardwalk area are few, but delicious! Because of the small number, they can get quite busy though.... be ready for that slow beach vibe. Off the beach, about a mile, there is lots of selection for food. The waves are great for the New Jersey shore... even hosting a surf competition in the fall.
