Barney's Roadhouse

This place must be the best kept secret in the area. My wife and I were passing through, and decided to eat here. The menu was full of delicious sounding options, so we tried most of the appetizers lol. Fried green tomatoes, mushrooms, fried pickles and mozzarella sticks, and pimento cheese balls. They were all amazing. Those pimento cheese balls are outstanding. Light and creamy inside. Everything was wonderful, until I got my pork chops, which were overcooked and hard. They took it back, and made it right though. It was an excellent experience

This is our second time visiting Barney’s Roadhouse. The first time we went, we were forced here because all other restaurants in the area were super busy. We have been immediately seated both times we visited. The food is actually really good. They have a lunch special and dinner special daily that changes. My husband had a double patty burger, my son had a kids cheeseburger, my daughter had a chicken sandwich, and I had the prime rib. The prime rib was just 'Meh' at best. The Au Jus sauce they served on the side was ice-cold. The butter beans were great, as well as the mashed potatoes. The chicken sandwich is huge; my daughter could only eat about 4 bites and brought the rest home. The kids' cheeseburger is also fairly large and more than enough. The fries are great and perfectly seasoned. The cheese sticks, though? Fabulous. All in all, this place is far too slow for how good the food is. It’s pretty pricey, but in my opinion, well worth it. We will be back. You should give it a try if you are on the fence

Although I was taken aback by the prices (at first) once I got my very large burger and tasted it, I can say it was priced just right. It was amazing. And the service by Chelsea was outstanding! I look forward to coming back here again.

Patty Melt is to die for! No frozen beef patties here! Sooo good! Two hand patties totaling an inch thick at least!!! The Stromboli is 2nd to none! Fresh ground beef, fresh mushrooms, grilled onions and brown gravy and the French bread it is on is out of this world!!! The mushroom appetizers are phenomenal!!! They’re perfectly hand breaded and they give you a huge basket full with ranch or horsey sauce. If ya don’t stop here, you’re losing out!!! Our server was fantastic as well! 10/10 ??

This was our first time eating here. Let's just say we were very impressed. We were worried at first due to nobody else being there. This place is a diamond in the rough. My husband ordered the Barney burger and I got the daily special which was chicken dressing, green beans and sweet potatoes. Peach cobbler for dessert it was by far the best peach cobbler I've ever ate. Gadsden Alabama definitely needs to support this business. We will definitely eat here again. My husband hardly ever eats a whole burger, he finished this massive burger
