CUSTOMER REVIEWS
I came in for a massage because I was dealing with neck and shoulder pain lasting back a few years. I'd been to a few clinics without results but this spot was all my back needed. I can't tell you what they did to my back because I was in a state of pure bliss from start to finish, but I can promise it worked. No more shoulder pain in the morning, no more aching pain at work, no more constantly stretching my back and arms to relieve stress. I feel younger today than I did yesterday, and I can't thank them enough for that. When the bill came, it became clear I was supposed to tip 20% of the total, which seemed reasonable based on the effort of the employee. I was happy to leave a larger tip, as the service was excellent, but newcomers to the massage business should be aware of that expectation before they stop by.
I have been a loyal customer for many years. The reason for this is the excellent quality of the service. Everything is above board, so don’t expect anything otherwise. Also, be ready to tip, because you need to consider that you would do the same if you got an excellent haircut. You need to read the price list before your service. They set timers, so you know how long your massage is, and I have never had any issues. The pressure they use is totally up to you. Just speak up about it if it’s too rough, it’s that simple. The takeaway here is that this is an awesome small business in an expensive and sometimes noisy mall. You get what you pay for, meaning an super relaxing massage, and you tip generously because it’s the right thing to do. I think if I tried to massage people for 10 hours I would be exhausted. They work incredibly hard, all to make you feel better. And you know that you are going to a place with no hanky-panky, just as you would expect at a chiropractor office. So just go in, pick your massage, close your eyes, listen to the soothing music, and get lost in relaxation.
The best Asian therapeutic massage in town. If you are looking for a spa experience, this is not your place. If you have tight mussels that needs to worked on this is your place. I have been going here for over 5 years and never had a bad massage. As with any service industry leaving a tip for a service provider is not only customary but in this day and age it is a requirement. The therapist are very good if you can communicate using Google translate. Just tell them the area to concentrate on and they do an excellent job. For me, it is my shoulders. I tell them to go to town in working the knots out.
My fiancé and I thought it would be good to get a massage together. Mistake on my end. The guy was very rough. My fiance did fine but my shoulders are so sore I couldn't sleep well and the day after my shoulders are seriously inflamed. I asked him to lighten up on the strength/power and he said sorry and continued. When it came time to pay the bill I thought it was going to be 23 per person and that would bring the bill to 46. We ended up paying 35 per person so a 70 dollar bill. I left a 10 dollar tip, it's not much but I wasn't exactly happy either. I will say the therapist did NOT do anything inappropriate. When they ran my credit card and saw that I left a 10 dollar tip the lady clearly wasn't impressed and showed her co-worker saying something in their native tongue and we walked away. I will NOT go back!
I've had a stiff neck and shoulder pain for over a month, could barely turn my head, sleeping has been difficult, and in constant miserable pain. First time I stopped by here after work, there was no one in the store... just a sign up sheet to put your name and phone number. Obviously all the employees were in the private rooms with customers doing massages. No one ever called me back. It's a real PITA to trek through the University Mall just for this... so I didn't make it back for a few weeks. I tried again tonight and finally got in for a 20-minute chair massage. The guy doing the massage was talking to other customers stopping by or on a Bluetooth phone most of the time which was a little distracting... BUT for $30 cash (I tipped $8 since I read in the reviews ahead of time that they're sensitive about that and I 100% plan to come back), and stopping by a drug store after for a Tiger Balm patch, I can completely turn my neck from side to side for the first time in over a month and have MUCH less pain. I plan to come back in a couple days. Recommended and worth the money... just plan for the business quirks ahead of time.
