Asahi Hibachi & Sushi

I really want to like this place but as they say.. three strikes and you are out. I got the Republic Role and it was pretty bland. I also got a side of noodles. It had almost a chemical taste. It has been almost the exact same every time. Super nice people and if I am just dying for sushi and don’t want to drive to Springfield, I would consider coming back, but probably won’t.

We absolutely love Asahi. We order takeout from here EVERY weekend. Their sushi is fresh and delicious and their fried rice is full of flavor! I get their Hibachi Shrimp meal and love the combo of veggies, rice, and shrimp. My husband is a picky eater and he loves their Hibachi Chicken. I swear my teenager could eat a table full of their Hollywood Rolls and still ask for more! Their service is always friendly and fast! Definitely recommend.

I love the cart in monett and this one is just as awsome. Priced good with a variety to choose from. The wait time was good too. What I like best is I can watch them make the sushi. The only thing that I didn't like was that I specified 3 times no wasabi but it was in there anyway and there were no fortune cookies. (my favorite part)

I absolutely love this place. We get the so cal and the transformer rolls and they are SO YUM. Hibachi is delicious too. Employees are very nice, fast, and keep the place clean.

Good food, guys are nice and will get you your food quickly. Basic flavors, nothing that really blew me away. But fixes the craving, way closer then anything in Springfield. Probably a good pick up movie night kind of meal.
