96 Truck Stop

G money and the gang lol G didn't know the movie American movie Slumdog millionaire. I don't know if he knew that this place has been here since 1980. He looked pretty motivated when he came into work. He went to check on the young lady in the picture to see if she needed anything. I asked the young lady as she made my car free Hamburger lol why is everybody so somber? she said we're always like that. Please realize they work hard here. Take care of their truckstop and keep it clean. These places are a dying breed in America. Let's try to bring them back. They just went under a big flood here and we're struggling. They have a mobile service and a mechanic shop. I mentioned the word review nobody really understands how important they are again take care of places like this in our country. Take care. Appreciate you guys. What would Paul Harvey say about this place live in the place up a little bit wave your hands in the air like you just don't care lol a couple of locals were in there. I don't think they trusted me, lol if you knew the history of where I come from and who I'm connected to the national championship, winning basketball coaches for Northern Kentucky and made it almost to win the state championship at Hartford, Kentucky in high school coaching. I did not go into the store, but I have parked in the lot several times. It's a medium-sized dirt lot for large vehicles, which provides a decent nights sleep. The lot is uneven and can get muddy at times. Unfortunately, due to the lack of professionalism on truck drivers who park here, the lot can be a bit trashy.

I don't come thru here often but got delayed at my delivery and sent to wait nearby, so here I was. Don't be put off by the gritty exterior of this place, but also don't expect the big corporate frills of today's chain truck stops. This place is real nice with friendly people. I really just needed a pack of smokes, but on a whim asked if I could get a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the lady working made one up in no time and it was really good! I regret not being able to give a tip not having any cash on hand but will definitely keep it handy for next time because barring tragedy, there will definitely be a next time! Only dinged one star off the review because of the truck lot.. it's a little rough, but not impassable. (There's gotta be someone around here with a grader that can come drag this lot.) But for nostalgic guys like me, this place is great!

Free gravel lot. Under new ownership. Super friendly staff. They serve Indian cuisine but will cook you chicken strips or a hamburger and fries. They do have showers but no scales.

Parking lot is getting bad with deep holes, navigate slowly especially if you have a nice bumper. The door to the store was open, but there’s clearly no sign of the place actually being open and it smells of decaying something…maybe a dead animal. I noped myself out pretty quick.
