Woody's Sports Bar & Grill

A great local sports bar. Not like the corporate chains, but truly a neighborhood old school sports bar. Lots of TV's and seats and from the outside it doesn't look big until you come inside. Being from out of town i didn't feel like an outsider. The food menu is perfectly sports bar food with plenty of options. I had Cheese fries and the portion size was great and they didn't skimp on the cheese. They had a decent beer selection both on tap, bottles. And cans. There is also a selection of hard liquor and soft drinks. The night I wss there it was karaoke night. So the place was busy.

Came here a week ago and it was ok. Some of the food had missing items like bacon on the club sandwiches, and the bread was barely toasted (completely white still), but waitress was good. came back tonight for a birthday party, waited well over an hour for food, my son only got a hotdog for his $6 kidmeal, they brought the $12 appetizer out 25 minutes after we had eaten our food (I tried to tell the waitress I didn't want it anymore, but she just walked off), then she even shorted me on my change. We were here over 2.5 hours for everyone to finally get their food, dirty dishes were never picked up, most everyone had empty cups for most of the meal, but gratuities were automatically added so waitress was clearly not worried about earning her tip. I have waitressed plenty in my lifetime, as had half of our party, and that was by far the worst service I've ever had. Everytime someone asked for something it seemed like we were getting attitude but waitress probably got 70-80$ in tips we had no choice in. Probably won't be back for food, if ever. Just stopped in for a quick drink. Didn't try the food, but prices seemed a bit excessive. The bartender was nice. Lots of colored people. Enjoyed playing country music on the TouchTunes Jukebox to break up the Jigaboo party.

Worst service I’ve ever had. Not sure I will ever go back again. I was with a party of 14 people. I Ordered open faced roast beef and my food was the last to come out when mine was probably the easiest plate to make. Appetizers didn’t come out until after we ate our dinner. Server was complaining because she had been working since noon and it was 6 pm. I understand things can get hectic but don’t tell your tables I’m not going to the kitchen because I don’t want to make them mad. Also I feel like a tip is optional and I’m one who more than willingly leave more than 20% but that’s my prerogative on how much to leave and it’s based on service. I shouldn’t be made to pay a tip for horrible food and service. Also when I spoke to the manager she said well the server is new. Whether you are new or not that’s not an excuse for the service we received

I love this place as a quick bite when I’m tired after work. Best wings in town! My husband and I enjoy coming here in person, but mainly use delivery from DoorDash and it holds up its quality every time. Great food! Never had a bad thing on their menu.
