16 East Bar and Grill

Great spot for a small town. Dined in for lunch at approx $15/ person ( entree & apps). Three of the four entrees were good. The seafood platter was fried too hard( no pic). Nice amount of food for the money! The margaritas were good. Staff/ service was good. Will return!

Stopped here on a road trip for lunch since it’s near an Electrify America charging station. I’m so glad we did! Excellent service and probably the best buffalo chicken wrap I’ve ever had. My husband got the chicken sandwich which he said was also great. Affordable drink selection, nice kids menu, and even changing tables in the men’s restroom rounded out a very positive experience! Would recommend and plan to stop here again if driving through Cordele in the future!

This was a "mixed feelings" experience. We were passing through on our way to Florida from Michigan and chose this restaurant based on the reviews and because we always try new places. We ended up having THE best frog legs in our lives. And also amazing southern-style sautéed cabbage and awesome steak tips. Frog legs are not on the menu, it's in their Specials. Other than that it was nothing to write home about and the service was weird. It felt like we were basically keeping the waitress from going home, but it was 2,5 hours before closing time and not that many tables to wait. But honestly, the frog legs and the cabbage are worth going back for!!

We went for dinner with another couple. The service was great. I ordered a daily special fried seafood platter. It came with scallops, shrimp, grouper and two sides. I got fries (crispy) and broccoli and cheese (meh). The grouper was good but it was tiny little fillets that tasted more like swai. The shrimp were plentiful and fried just right. The scallops were real and they were absolutely delicious. My wife got a daily special 8 oz sirloin with zucchini and mashed potatoes. She loved the sides but the sirloin was too tough even though it was cooked medium. That's sirloin for ya though... All in all our experience was good. I would definitely return.

We were there towards closing so sat around the bar. Kendra is an excellent bar tender, and she makes fabulous Christmas margaritas! The menu is quite diverse so will find something you like but is possibly needing a bit of focus to make the dishes great, not just good. Plenty of seating available, and a good covered area outside for private parties. Good location, close to multiple motels.
