Woodburn Riverside Park

Fantastic park on the riverbank at Woodburn. Great for kids of all ages - and includes public toilets, electric BBQs, shaded tables. Definitely recommended as a stop, especially given the great shops across the road.

A big improvement from when I grew up there really nice to have a BBQ swim and kids can play on the equipment... Only down fall is very little shaded areas only seating for BBQ the kids play equipment definitely needs a shade sail slippery dip gets extremely hot...

Great town for a quick bathroom/lunch stop during road trip from Sydney to Gold Coast! New toilet and park facilities, very good for short break after long driving.

What an excellent place to stop and stretch your legs Woodburn Riverview park is. We stopped here on our way up to the Gold Coast from Newcastle and so glad we did. Was so great to get out of the car and explore the local sites, at first we were just going to walk around the park and use the toilets. However, we ended up walking the main street, grabbing a excellent pie from the local bakery and enjoying around an hour in town. Highly recommend stopping in.

Next to i fo centre. Opposite shops. Fabulous bakery. Great view of Bridge. Nice place to stop briefly or explore further
