Willapa Landing Park

I walk my dog through here every day. It's calm, peaceful and a lovely view?

Nice little hike along willapa river. Wild life along the trail in the warmer months is fun.

Gorgeous place to sit and watch the sun go down. Really quiet park.

Small walk little jetty to walk out to the end with a quiet place to sit

This is a fairly large city run park in Raymond, WA right on the Wilapa River. There are a lot of amenities at this park including soft ball fields, a skate park, a boat launch, basketball courts and a playground. There is also lots of grass to walk the pups, some historical information kiosks and a public bathroom. If you hit the park at the right time you can see deer and otters as well as all manner of birds. I took one star off because the gravel parking lots are not well maintained and the bathrooms seem to be closed at the oddest times. Otherwise it is a beautifully picturesque park situated to take advantage of a huge bend in the Wilapa River.
