Van Ness's Time Out

This is another great neighborhood bar/restaurant with an emphasis on the dining aspect. I stopped in for a beer and was surprised by their sizely selection of domestic and imports both bottled and on tap. Although I didn't have any food, what was being served smelled and looked terrific, so I plan to return another time to judge for myself.

We went to Time Out for lunch. The place wasn't busy, and we were waited on right away. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone ordered the fresh hand breaded tenders, and we all got a side of fries. For my tenders, I chose the slam sauce. It had a great taste and the perfect amount of heat. I went with the waitresses' opinion on the sauce as she said it was a favorite choice among customers. Everyone else just ordered theirs plain. The fries were good. Very comparable to McDs fries. My only complaint of what we ordered would be the drinks. The pops are served in cans, and therefore are no free refills. We much prefer fountain drinks when we go out. All together, the place was a good find, and we would go back again. I would recommend the place for sure if you have never eaten there. They also offer daily specials, which gives you something else to choose from!

What a hidden gem!???? The outside is completely unimpressive, and looks more like an insurance company than a restaurant. However, that only adds to the charm of this traditional sports bar. The interior is very cool, with a vintage sports vibe. The menu was streamlined and prices are very fair. I asked the waitress for her favs and she gave me great feedback. The burger was great! The service was great! Plenty of parking. I will be back for sure!

Life's busy, and life's productive. Always a need for a Time Out. Visit VanNess Time Out. I recommend the Time Out burger!

The service was great! She was very attentive and friendly. The food came out quickly and was hot and very good! Kid friendly Bar and grill. I got the sauerkraut balls better than most.
