Tucks Tire & Muffler Center

First time at Tucks yesterday, gave them a call with some concerns (my car is pretty low) about getting on the lift. The mechanic (he introduced himself but I just can’t remember his name) knew exactly how to get my car up on the lift. Extremely professional, gave me a quote for what they had to do and knocked it out of the park. I brought my own exhaust to install on my g35 coupe. He did a great job. Missed a couple specs of the wrapping plastics here and there but in the time it took him to get it ready it’s understandable. If I ever have problems or need exhaust work done again I’ll be taking it to tucks.

I really do like this place. I had some machine work done here. I gave them a block and a set of gt40 heads. I was pleased with the results and the price was awesome. Darren is the man to ask for if you need something from the machine shop. I called a few times and spoke with many people. I was respectful spoken to by knowledgeable people and given updates on my engine parts. I saved a lot of money using them and everything I wanted plus+ was done. Darren gave me some great pointers on prep and build for my engine. I definitely recommend this place. God bless.

Bad experience dropped my car off for a 3 inch muffler delete on my classic 1993 Nissan because the stock one was rusting and leaking. Come to find out they said they couldn't do 3 inch at the time but if i didnt like the pipes they put on to bring it back and they'll. Fix it. I knew immediately after leaving the shop i didn't like the result. The car went down for much needed maintenance when i brought the car back to get it fixed to 3 inch. They tried to charge me more than i had to pay the first time! Seriously unsatisfied with the service. I could've understood just paying the material at most. Since the original job wasn't even something i wanted. I'd stay away and find a better shop. The owner at the front desk was also on the phone for quite a minute which seemed to be a personal call when he had a customer right in front of him. 1/5.

Got a quote to replace both header gaskets at 375$. They said it only needed one side so I said that would be fine to just do one side and I assumed that would make it cheaper. I get the bill and it's 435$ and I bought the gaskets. They need to be more upfront with people.
