The Waiters Restaurant

The food is really yummy, I had an amazing spaghetti a la carbonara. The dishes that my friends had also look very nice. However, I was a bit surprised they do not have a menu when you sit and there are no prices in the general board. So you need to ask the waiter to know, that was a bit annoying. The service was very quick, a huge clap for not making us waiting. I have to say the restaurant was packed when we went, so that’s a really good sign too. I was expecting a bit more of decoration or italian vibes, but actually the setting is very simple. Also, a bit pricey overall. Dishes range between $25-$30. I was shocked that we couldn’t add a specific topic in the dishes.

Great spot for a quick meal. Just be prepared for the tight seating and noise! It does all add to the ambience of being in a family restaurant once you get used to it. Most importantly, the food is delicious. The parpadelle ai funghi was really flavourful - the addition of spring onions is far from authentic but really works, so no complaints there. It is slightly odd that it comes almost completely unseasoned with salt on the side, but I suppose that makes it easier to tune to your tastes. Osso bucco was seasoned perfectly though. Props to the waitstaff for living up to the name - they are constantly moving at pace and actually keeping up with the busy, packed restaurant. Not an easy gig!

This place has been serving classic Italian food since the 1940s. It's small and the service is 10/10. I had the antipasto, gnocchi (with Bolognese) and carbonara. Everything tasted fresh like you eating it in some hole in the wall in Italy. Don't tell your friends about it.

Nice food, not cheap, the salad ???? for 22 dollars was small & seriously they could make it twice as big & still make money. Overall was good but I couldn’t afford to eat there here weekly.

What an experience! Up the wooden stairs to this rough diamond of a dining extravaganza we were met with chalk board menus and an at home dining table atmosphere. The service here is exceptional and the food is just delicious!!
