THE best ice cream!! The service staff are fantastic and friendly. I've tried several flavors. My favorite is the butter pecan. It has full pecans. The German chocolate was another favorite.

They have an amazing variety of dipped waffle cones to choose from- it’s a little mind blowing. It was a hot day and they just had you order from the window, which was a bummer to not get to see the ice cream options, but just have to choose from a board. The PB chunk was pretty solid; the brownie batter was disappointing- mostly vanilla. My daughter loved her cone with mint chocolate chip and coffee caramel flavors. It’s a definitely on the pricey side, but worth the occasional splurge. Give it a shot!

I was pleasantly surprised how reasonable the prices were given the location. A very friendly (and patient) lady was taking orders at a walk-up window. There wasn't an option to go inside of The Scoop. For those visually inspired people this might be a downfall since you're unable to see all the buckets of ice cream. A large variety of ice cream flavors are posted on a window as well as on a board. Soft serve & hand dipped ice is served here. Kiddos will love the variety of waffle cones they offer that are dipped in chocolate then coated with different candies and sprinkles.???? I purchased a hot fudge brownie sundae. It was yummy! This ice cream shop is located downtown Frankfort on the main street making parking challenging/limited, depending on the time of day. Plenty of seating can be found throughout the town to enjoy your sweet treat. I will definitely be stopping here again when I'm in the area.

Delicious ice cream in crunchy waffle cones. I tried the toasted coconut. My husband enjoyed a gluten free cake cone with decadent chocolate. He rarely finds gluten free cones, so this was a surprise! We were both very impressed. The employees are welcoming and energetic. I wish we could visit this shop more often. Outstanding service and a quality product????????

If this is Americas best ice cream, I will never eat ice cream again. This was the worst ice cream I have ever eaten. It was just sweet. Didn’t taste like lemon at all. The service is so unfriendly. We have also asked in advance how much we will need to pay. At the end they sold us a special waffle which made it even more expensive. I can’t recommend this shop at all.
