The Pavilion

Fabulous location right on Union Square. Very friendly atmosphere. Beautifully open to the summer breezes. Drinks aren't horribly expensive. Great spot to stop on a NYC shopping mission. All subways lead to 14 and Broadway.

This is my favorite restaurant and bar in NYC! There's virtually no other place in the city where you can sit outside but not be on the street. The service is great, cocktails are exceptional and the food is excellent. My only request is that they start serving chips and guacamole! That would be perfect for the summer.

The food wasn't bad, but for how incredibly expensive this place is (and yes, it's RIDICULOUSLY expensive) you would expect better. The portions were really tiny and it was mediocrity at it's best. The menu didn't have much selection or variety, even on the cocktail menu I think that there were maybe 5 things to choose from. The only thing this place has going for it is the vibe, the music is nice and the place itself is beautiful - that's what you're paying for. I wouldn't go there again, though.

This place has a nice location and that's it. The seating is terrible. You're blinded by sunlight wherever you sit. The coffee is terrible. I had to send it back and I don't think I've ever sent coffee back before. The service was terrible and slow. It took an hour to get our food and the descriptions of the food are not apt. It's roulette of what you actually get. The food itself is on the level of TGIF if that tells you anything. I'll never go back. Manager and staff were soooooo apathetic about all and any issues we raised.

Pricey entrees and spotty waitstaff make this outdoor patio restaurant in the middle of Union Square a last resort dining experience. The brisket ravioli and fish entree, though tasty, was an appetizer portion and cold since the waiter gave 2 out of 3 of our entrees to the couple sitting at the next table. The flank steak was just not good, at all. The only time our waiter was at all attentive was at collecting his tip money.
