Matched my inspo Pic almost PERFECTLY!! I was very impressed and all the staff were nice and very professional! In my opinion, very reasonably priced. Love my vacation nails!!! (Note: the little nicks around my nails are from me, I have a habit of picking/chewing at them so that's on me!)
I love The Nail Lounge! I always go to Steve to get my acrylics done. He is very friendly and professional, and always goes into detail when working on my nails. For pedicures, I go to Amanda. She is also very professional and skilled, and she is also very friendly and funny! The ladies at the front desk are very friendly, always willing to help find the perfect color for your nails. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who is looking for amazing nails with friendly service!
TLDR: Lack of attention to detail. Will not be back ever again. I have heard great things about this place, so I decided to come get my nails done here. I had a really bad habit of biting my nails and messing with the skin around my nails, so I decided to let them grow out so that when I got them done, they looked nice. I have never done dip powder on my natural nails because they used to look so bad, but after a good, long month or so, they were ready and the skin around my nails had healed. So when I got there, I checked in and let the ladies at the front know that I wanted dip on my natural nails. And because I had never gotten dip on my natural nails before, I assumed the guy would ask me what I wanted or start some conversation. He didn’t. He never asked me what I wanted, immediately started cutting my nails, and he assumed I wanted tips, so he got my nails ready for that. As soon as I saw him pull out the tips, I stop him and let him know that I didn’t want the tips. And that’s when I realized he never asked me what I wanted. And I’m just heartbroken because it took so much time and self-control to stop biting my nails and letting them grow out. And I’m just torn the whole time because he had already cut my nails so there was nothing I could do and I didn’t want to be charged for the tips. It wasn’t until the end that I realized that there was zero cuticle care - absolutely none. There also wasn’t any manicure-esque rubbing of the hands with hand lotion or the little stuff they usually do during a manicure. I wasn’t asked if I wanted to add anything on either. There was just a whole lack of attention to what I wanted. And when I got home, I also realized that there were a few white spots on my finger nails, due to the lack of attention. All to say, I will not be going there again.
I’ve had positive experiences here before but this time wasn’t that good. I came to get the mani and pedi combo and the toes were fine. There wasn’t enough tables for me to do my nails there so she did them at the toe station and it felt extremely rushed. They came out looking sloppy and could have used another coat. On top of that my nails weren’t dried in the uv light machine so my nails ended up with air bubbles… Overall I could of saved $55 and did it at home better.
Took my daughter and we both got our nails done while visiting her at A&M. The techs did a great job. I would give 5 stars, except for three things; my tech answered his cell phone in the middle of my appointment and stopped until he finished his personal call, no one offered either of us a beverage, they were speaking to themselves in Vietnamese for over half our appointment time.
