The Escape

We stopped in here to grab dinner after a show at the Murphy Theater. The smoked pork quesadilla and skillet corn were good. Service was fast and the staff were all friendly. I wish this wasn't such a far drive for us (over an hour) because it seems like a great place to hang out and we'd definitely like to try more of the things on their menu. I loved how one wall is all garage doors that open onto the patio essentially doubling the space when the weather is good. And the outdoor patio looks like a great place to catch some live music.

It is unexpectedly the most expensive bar I've drank at in Ohio. Any bar serving Michelob Ultra for over $6 instantly gets a one-star review.

At 55yrs old I am obviously not a college student. If I order a Jack & Coke please give me a fair pour on the Jack, at least enough to taste.....

Food was amazing ???? the smoked pork quesadilla was delicious ???? they smoke the pork on-site and the flavor is out of this world!!!

Delicious food, cold drinks and good company! I've been going here for years, but the new kitchen and food menu are fantastic. Give it try for dinner. You won't be disappointed. I recommend the pretzel sticks, side salad (greens are frome Bright Farms in Wilmington, Ohio) and a Ham, Swiss and Tomato sandwich. Seriously, give it a try & bring cash!
