The Corner Lounge

They kicked us out and didn't say why, visted from alberta and said my partner was too drunk, no drinks were bought and we had water and one beer. This is unbelievable for a bar. No water offer3d or cabs called, just kicked out. I expect my beer and tip back to me.

I’ve been there a handful full of times now. Every single time I go, Erin and all her co workers are happy to be there, helpful, so kind and they remember you. People go there knowing there are good vibes. The drinks a priced accordingly, i love that they have pre priced shots of 6. Karaoke is karaoke lol. I would recommend checking it out. Big groups might want to call ahead. It’s a bar people. You won’t get in without ID lol

I'm big into Karaoke and this place was the whole vibe, **Karaoke 7 days a week!!** Erin is a superwoman the way she kills it providing drinks for everyone! She is super kind, but take no crap kinda lady. The Lounge is cozy and the environment is friendly, the croud is positive and all about the singing, zero judgement, just sing your little heart out! 100% recommend this place! I will be back again and again! See you again Erin! ~Ash~

Normally this place is a great time, however, Blake the supposed bouncer, forced me to leave as I was apparently showing signs of intoxication. I was seated the entire time, he claimed my head my “bobbing” which is solely due to my medication for my seizures as they cause tremors. I tried to explain this to him yet he threatened to call the police.

nanaimo has a decent nightlife for a town of its size, with the caveat that you have to look around to find spots you like. corner lounge is definitely a place worth checking out if you like karaoke or small, cramped bars with a chatty clientele and friendly staff.
