The Central House Tavern

Had our high school reunion at the Cent and it was great! The room was the perfect size for our group of around 40, space could be arranged any way we wanted, Dan was super easy to work with allowing us early access to decorate and play our own playlist. Food was awesome! Veggies + pitas with hummus, bruschetta, salad, sliders, scallops in bacon, mac + cheese, and the food didn’t all come out at once which was nice. Thanks for a great night!

I wanted the prime rib on Thursday but unfortunately it’s a Friday thing. The ribeye was absolutely fantastic. I always tell people I only like my steaks and they blew me away with theirs still. My wife had gotten their turkey soup which I tasted. It was homemade you can definitely tell. Hearing the local chatter at this bar made me feel like I was watching Cheers. I love this place.

We went here after a tournament for my daughter. It's a super cute place with a very friendly atmosphere. When walking through the door you are greated by friendly staff and patrons immediately! The spicy chicken sandwich was amazing, and the food came out fast. My daughter had wings they did not have all that nasty batter they can sometimes have and were not greesy. My husband the copier also had the chicken sandwich and he loved it! Super clean, friendly and affordable!

Delicious fish dinner. Haddock virtually melted in your mouth. Only negative, they ran out of sides and rather than tell us and offer substitutions, they just put a different side on our plates . Still tasty and well prepared, just never gave us any notice of the change.

I am writing to share my disappointing experience at Central House Westborough recently. My friends and I dined at your establishment, and while the initial part of our evening was enjoyable, an incident towards the end left us with a negative impression. After finishing our dinner, we decided to have some drinks and continue our conversation. Unfortunately, your wife, who served as our server, approached us and asked us to leave abruptly, just half an hour after finishing our meal. We were surprised by the sudden request and felt unwelcome. This incident marred what could have been an otherwise pleasant evening. I believe such actions are not in line with the welcoming atmosphere that patrons expect from a dining establishment. I thought it important to bring this matter to your attention in the hope that steps can be taken to prevent similar occurrences in the future. I value honest and constructive feedback, and I hope this message contributes to improving the overall experience
