Tequila Mexican Restaurant Hiram

I’ve visited this place a total of 3 times, each at the request of someone in my party. Every time I have been disappointed. My most recent visit was a couple weeks ago for a birthday. I ordered the tequila rice: the chicken felt rubbery as if it were precooked and reheated, the rice was mushy because it was overcooked and the shrimp was tough because it was cooked too long. My food was also very salty, I took a few bite and couldn’t finish. They bring complimentary chips and salsa to the table, I could smell the chips before they made it to the table: they smelled like they’d been cooked in old grease. Ultimately I ate very little and decided that was my very last time visiting. Our waiter was pleasant enough and we were seated quickly, so 2 stars.

I visited your location on Jimmy Lee Highway in Dallas, GA. I ordered 2 fish tacos and I wasn’t aware they chop the fish up, which made the tacos dry. The cook put all the cilantro on 1 taco- who does that? And it was more cilantro than fish. This was truly a waste of my $7.49. I will not be returning.

Update: I been here at least 3x since Mother's day. I went yesterday and food was fabulous. I never had a bad experience when I go. We just love this place! I had the "Speedy Gonzales" it's the last pic #7. Also, if you go during lunch hour lunch specials are $6.50. Went here yesterday for Mother's Day. My son wanted to do something nice for me. I have been here many times. The food is great and service is usually fast. Margarita are awesome too!

This restaurant was DISGUSTING!!!! I’ve been here many times but the last will be my LAST TIME! The inside was dead, like not crowded at all so tell me why the floor was DISGUSTING! We sat on the patio and omg, the tables were GROSS. The ground was filled with trash everywhere. Splatter of sauces and drinks everywhere. I get we are outside but it was a MESS! Nobody wants to enjoy there drinks and food in filth. They’d clean off the table and just leave it. Not readjust the chairs. No sweeping. There was trash all underneath my feet. The bathroom was gross. Paper towel dispenser hanging off the way. I’m so disappointed. This restaurant has def gone downhill.

Great food, great customer service! Highly recommend. Family oriented as well as social gathering. Margaritas are dangerously good! Patio is everything when. It’s warm. Don’t forget to support local businesses and communities! ????????????????
