Tanners Tap & Grill

Two bartenders in total. One worked the floor and was reasonably involved in making sure we were happy when it came to ordering our food and checking in on us until we ordered. We most always go to the bar for our drinks, and the young one behind the bar was clearly inexperienced at running the bar and the big picture of serving ALL customers, not just her local regulars. We spent too much time standing there waiting to be noticed. We each had 3 drinks. Only the last one (provided by the woman working the floor) was made in a timely manner. We do understand human nature and the tendency to stick by who you know, but when new people come in, it should be noticed, and care should be taken to encourage them to come back. We did like the smaller pizza sizes available and the choice of a cauliflower crust, but the Friday Night Catfish Special was clearly not worth the price of $15. It was one medium- sized piece of catfish, curled up. The flavor was good, but the amount of food on the plate had room for improvement. The pizza was good too!

Food was good but the service was horrible! We walked in and sat down for about 8 min still no waiter or acknowledgement that we were there. Had to go to the bar to order then waited another 25-30 min for a burger and wrap. Poor service. But food was good.

The owner and staff is fantastic!! Great service and food is perfect. The tap beers are changed monthly and unique. If the owner sees an issue it’s fixed quickly at your request. Try the burgers which are the best in the area and pizzas no one comes close.

top notch service! Don't forget the cheese curds - if you are passing through the area for EAA don't miss this down to earth classic Wisconsin pub. Tanner's has stood on Main Street in Omro for as long as anyone remembers (previously Hotel Omro). Boat parking out the back so you can drive right up on the river - and snow mobilers are welcome! There is even a custom shelf for your helmets. There is a private dining room avaiable for group bookings The Friday Night Fish fry is next level!! Plus weekly lunch specials and the best soup in town. All you can eat chicken on Sundays - deliciously broasted and soooo juicy. Plus the best pizzas - cooked on stonetop and always handmade with fresh ingredients. The servers and bartenders really go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. A popular spot - you will feel like a local straight away!

Great burgers & pizza!! Attentive wait staff, good atmosphere, and quality food. A nice ride on the motorcycle or stop on the boat. Reasonable prices for drinks and family meals.
