Tai-Pan

Although an hour away I’ve thought to head back to Middlefield just for another delicious meal at Tai-Pan! The ambiance is clean, calm, staff very friendly and helpful, prices are great, food was fantastic! Wishing I had ordered the Wongtong soup as after words I heard it’s the best. Egg drop soup I usually don’t like yet theirs was so good as was everything spring roll and vegetable delete

I’ve been coming here for years. The best food and service that I’ve found anywhere in Ohio! Today I had my favorite hot and sour soup with vegetable tempura. Hot and delicious, very affordable! Will be returning soon. Edit: just tried a new dish tonight - beef with cashews - soooo amazing!

Since the new owners took over the food quality has gone down so far and prices have gone so high it's RIDICULOUS. There is NO EXCUSE to charge what they do for such poor quality food. Also, when you call to place a carry out order it sounds like they've outsourced order taking to a call center, and it's damned near IMPOSSIBLE to understand one word of what they're saying, and THAT is absolutely INFURIATING. When you go inside the first thing you notice is the fish tank that is FILTHY, and there's DUST EVERYWHERE. The service is very friendly and courteous but, here again, almost impossible to understand what they're saying. I used to love the food here but it's SO DIFFERENT that it's hard to believe. Honestly, you're far better off skipping this place unless you have an overwhelming Jonesing for Chinese. You get the impression that you're paying a 5 star price for 1 star food. The cost is severely disproportionate to the food's "quality". It's really sad how far down this place has gone and how dirty it is inside

FINALLY found GREAT Chinese food in Geauga County after living in Chardon for 1 1/2 years and trying a lot of other places. I grew up in Geauga County but lived elsewhere for 30 years...I didn't expect to find AMAZING Chinese food in Middlefield...their fried rice is LEGIT...their egg rolls are freshly handmade not SISCO frozen garbage. Hot & Sour soup...absolutely SPOT ON!!! I can't say enough about how AMAZING EVERYTHING we ordered turned out!!!!!

Really good food lots of flavor very attentive staff can't go wrong ill be back. Dinner for two thumbs up
