Picked out by my adventurous 11yr old. Stigler was a solid 12mi bike ride from where we live in Greenfield but the trail was lovely! Wide and well maintained lightly trafficked on a weekday evening but with diverse enough woodsy scenery to make the short hike quite pleasant. Enjoy the photos!
Beautiful trail right in the middle of an industrial park. Would have never even known this was here if not for Google Maps. It's an easy walk and completely wooded. You feel away from the city even though you can still hear the cars. The creek and bridge was a really nice treat. My daughter loved it.
Unassuming and lovely nature walk through the woods with little ones. Not strenuous at all. Note this is not a stroller friendly. The trail is about a mile, does have forks and isn't well marked, however they all loop together. A fellow hiker told us to stay to the left of the fork and we ended back where we started.
Not handicapped accessible, no restrooms. Very few benches. But its paths are beautiful and wide enough to social distance. Nice streams and foliage. Bug spray would be an option. Plus need to bring own doggie bag to clean up after ????
As a part of our Wisconsin vacation this year we decided to find as many walking trails as we could find. This one is tucked away and an absolute gem for a mile walk of nature, peace and tranquility. We’ll be most definitely be back on our next trip. ????????????
