Stag & Doe

A gem in China Grove, I was very pleasantly surprised after all the other disappointments in the area. I had the lasagna with soup and salad it was delicious and fresh. Service was friendly and attentive. I will be visiting again to try more menu items. If you're traveling through or a resident of China Grove I would definitely recommend Stag and Doe over any other eatery in the area.

What a country treat!! This reminded me of when my parents would take me out for a Friday dinner! Simple. Easy. Southern home cooking food. No fuss. No muss. House salads and french fries for everyone! Servers are local and super friendly. Food hits the spot. Atmosphere is getting the job done. Def come out for a Saturday night dinner and hang with the best if Landis!

Wonderful local place in China Grove, NC that's been in business since the 1950's. Well known for steaks and seafood. You have to order the fried flounder that's served whole on the table. It's lightly breaded and seasoned, and is almost enough for two people. It's so thick you flake the meat off of one side then turn it over and have just as much meat on the other. The flounder is only available certain times of the year, so call ahead for availability if you're planning to have that. They also have a BBQ chicken and grilled shrimp combo that's wonderful. Their ribs and shrimp combo is fantastic too.

Recently went. It had been a long time since the last time I went. I think it is a restaurant that just escapes my mind, but it will take a while for me to forget my recent trip. The service was great and the food excellent!!
