On the road and we got hungry. Stopped in Forsyth, MT. Population of 1602. Found a quaint little diner with some locals eating there. Walked in and was greeted like we were one of them. A lovely young woman was the wait staff and the cook. We ordered cheeseburger and fries and a pork chop with hash browns and the salad bar. The food was well prepared and delicious. ???? The locals were friendly. We gassed up and chalked it up to a great experience in Forsyth, MT!!
A cheerfully unrenovated cafe in an historic rail town. Americana of the 60's and 70's with more recent kitsch covers the dining room of a faded commercial hotel. You can see signs of the glory days in the high tin ceiling. Food. Stick to the basics. Classic breakfast is solid value. A neighbor's pancake plate would serve four. Not sure I'd order up anything complicated. The graffiti in the men's room alone is worth a visit. Ask who the Black Widow is commemorated on a bench outside the front door. A local artist painted a mural diorama of surrounding Forsyth. Quite good.
Excellent food! This was a gem of a stop on our 16 hour drive. Waitress was kind and welcoming. Great service and the food is so good.
Wonderful 3D artwork worth stopping in and eating here just to see the 3D mural with moving parts. Made my day. Talked with the artist who was very kind and very talented.
Super cool place with good food and service. Delicious Ruben sandwich, pancakes, sausage links and over-easy eggs. Totally worth getting off the interstate for this place.
