Smitty's Carry Out

Ordered a triple, got a double. Asked for a refund for a single patty after hearing the grill cook argue about it, employees were unable to do that. Gave up and hung up the phone on them. Also was put on hold, hung up on, and had to call back to place an order. Haven't eaten at Smitty's in over a decade, definitely won't be back.

My wife and I drove out from Wichita to give this place a try. The service was really good and the food came out quick. The burgers themselves were good, but the bacon on them was undercooked. My wife enjoyed her sweet potato fries while my fresh cut fries could have used a little more time in the fryer. All in all, we enjoyed our experience.

This is easily one of the best counter-service burgers I've ever had! The patties are huge—definitely bigger than the typical 1/4 lb ones you get at most places. I went with the tater tots, and while they weren't my favorite, they were still pretty decent. My son, on the other hand, inhaled his fries before I even had a chance to grab one. I’ll definitely be back to try the fries next time, and I think I’ll opt for a single burger instead of the double. One thing to note: the place is pretty small. I got there at 12:10 on a Saturday and was lucky to snag a table. If you're planning to visit during a busy time, be ready to grab your food to go!

We stopped here for lunch on our way from Oklahoma to Colorado. The burgers and fries were really good, and I had a reuben sandwich. Our daughter is in a wheelchair and there was some working to get her in due to the small room space, but we managed. The only complaint was there was not a lot of seating space, but most of that was due to a lot of customers coming in and out. I would stop here again with no hesitation.

Nice small town burger joint. The hamburger I had to day was terrific! The frys could have been crispier. They were a tad limp. Friendly staff. They have other food choices such as a catfish platter.
