Slaughter's BBQ

One of the best barbecue places without doubt! I’ve always come across amazing barbecue restaurants in the small towns of Texas. Slaughter’s used to be a food truck and have recently moved into this new place. The ambience is perfect with indoor and outdoor seating options. Friendly service with a smile. The owner was behind the counter which speaks to the quality of food and service. You place the order, pay and pick up your tray. They offered a free beer for each order too, which was a cool deal. Now for the food - the brisket was amazing. The grits are legit. My most favorite was the Jalapeño salad. The barbecue sauce was good but I highly recommend their bbq mustard sauce. Reasonably priced for some real good food. Will I return? : For sure!

Got the beef rib (on Saturday only) and it was amazing. The normal pork ribs are very good as well. Everything we had was great and the atmosphere was awesome. Really great experience.

AMAZING! In town for a work trip and we had to eat here twice. The ribs have such a great flavor. Brisket is tender and delicious too. Tried four sides. Coleslaw was light and a great balance with the other items. Potato salad was also light and great. The Mac and cheese is awesome - great cheese blend and creamy! Tater tot casserole is also fantastic. Last but certainly not least - I love their bbq sauce! I hope they sell it one day because it is SO good.

Great food and atmosphere, friendly staff, and funky blues. Come for the juicy brisket and inventive sides, stay for the music and banana pudding. I've had BBQ all over the country and would come back here over most I've had.

The food is excellent! The brisket was moist and tender. The jalapeno slaw is refreshing and crunchy, and the poblano grits are a must-try! My husband also tried the sausage, ribs, tater tot casserole, and Mac n cheese. Everything was delicious. The staff is also very friendly - they gave us a free banana pudding for our kiddo! An added bonus - they play great Blues music inside the restaurant. Thanks for a great experience, Slaughter's!
