Sim's Bar-B-Que

I and my sister love ?? Sim's Bar-B-Que. Not just us, but every time I go there, it's always packed because the food is always good. The workers are friendly & very nice and they listen to us the customers. You can eat there or take it out. You're also able to call your order ahead of time. And they sell beer ???? I never buy it. It's always clean in there, or I wouldn't eat from there. Just come on out and see for yourself the food is EXCELLENT. Oh, it's in Little Rock off John Barrow..

First time visit to this location. Food was amazing. Had ribs, pork, and greens. It really was a cut above. The pork had depth of flavor. Not washed out at all like some places are. The ribs too- plus they had a bit of crispiness on the outside from the char while the inside was juicy and tender with just the right amount of "pull". And the greens were the best I've ever had. My server (didn't get her name) was funny and personable and very friendly. She was the same with all the tables while I was in there. Makes it a shame to have to rate them lower in service and atmosphere because of the older lady taking orders at the front. Very unfriendly. Seemed like she'd rather have been anywhere else but there.

Loved it! Just good ole barbeque. We had the pork sandwich and onion rings. I know there is debate about serving the pork on plain white bread instead of a bun, but it works. Yes, it's a little messy, but you have a fork and plenty of napkins. The bread doesn't take away from the delicious flavor of the pork. The onion rings really need more recognition. If you are an onion ring fan, these are for you! Note this is very close to CARTI, so if you have a break between appointments enjoy some comfort food in a friendly atmosphere. I always check restrooms and yes, it was clean.

Years ago this Sims was so darn good. The ribs were always nearly perfect and the hamburgers were top notch! Then some time ago I received some very, very weird "ribs" from here. They were extremely stringy and tough. I brought it to the attention of the store and no response. I wonder why no one takes responsibility for sub par food served here. Customer service is elementary to business success. How many customers have been lost? How many potential customers have been lost? Someone at this establishment should do the math and maybe discover how much money they have lost and stand to lose just from non-existent good customer relations. I'll give them one more try with a burger. Will revisit this review at that time.

This was a $16 plate of lunch. The sausage was really tasty, although a bit overcooked. The pulled pork was chopped much finer than I expected, but still tasted nice. The portion size was very kind. The beans had a good flavor. The potato salad tasted like it came from a tub and was nothing different than you'll get most other places. The service was FAST and the counter staff were very friendly! I'll definitely go back when I'm in the area and craving BBQ. I want to give their ribs a taste... but it's nothing I'd go out of my way for.
